This is one devine resort on Jambiani beach. A very romantic setting along long stretches of quiet white sandy beaches. The accommodation is of high standard with comfort clearly as first priority. There is ample beach beds, loungers and chairs to never feel crowded or without space. Including various swimming pools! The food is exceptional! We really loved staying here. For once a geniune 4 star resort living up to the excellence of expectation.

Die Lage ist einmalig. Wir hatten ein freistehendes Bungalow mit Aussen- und Innendusche, mehreren Sitzgelegenheiten, Doppelbett mit Sicht auf Strand und Meer sowie zwei Betten im oberen Geschoss. Das Essen ist sehr gut, wenn auch etwas wenig abwechslungsreich und für unseren Geschmack zu "europäisch". Auf Bedürfnisse von Personen mit Allergien und Unverträglichkeiten (Zöliakie) wird sehr gut eingegangen. Der Service war teilweise sehr langsam, der Blick von der offenen Speiseterrasse auf Strand und Meer dafür einmalig. Das Personal ist äusserst freundlich und kommunikativ.

Very beautiful and relaxed place
We’ve just had the most amazing holiday at Sharazad Oasis Retreat, and we cannot recommend this place enough! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and pampered by the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately, I had sprained my leg, but the staff went above and beyond to assist us – including offering a late check-out so we could make the most of our stay.
The hotel is absolutely stunning, located right on the beach with breathtaking views. The beach is beautiful and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing.
The restaurant serves good food – both lunch and dinner were wonderful, and the included breakfast was varied, delicious, and filled with fresh ingredients.
The hotel is well-maintained, and with three great pools, there’s always a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. You can truly feel the love and care that has been put into this place, both in the level of service and in the attention to detail throughout the hotel.
We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Je moet er van houden, alleen maar zand en strand met een hek erom heen. De bungalows zien er schattig uit maar hebben weinig extra, geen koelkast geen airco en als dan de stroom uitvalt werkt de fan ook niet. Smoor heet is het dan. Ook is er geen zaklamp of kaars in het huisje. We zaten 4 uur zonder stroom in het pikkedonker en alleen het personeel van het restaurant bekommerde zich over de gasten. Van hen kregen we een lamp mee. Het personeel van het restaurant krijgt van mij 5 sterren en de dames die de bungalow kwamen schoonmaken ook. Voor de rest was het matig en zal ik het niemand aanraden.

Lovely retreat on the east side of Zanzibar. Indian Ocean at your feet. Private cottages with all the amenities you long for. Four different swimming pools, from Oceanside to Relax pool. Bars and restaurant on the premises with very professional and friendly staff.

Hôtel absolument fabuleux. Le personnel est d'une gentillesse sans égal, les chambres sont magnifiques, la propreté irréprochable et l'emplacement est idyllique. Le SPA à l'intérieur est parfait, plusieurs activités sont proposées également. Et la cuisine est délicieuse. Aucune fausse note pour ce merveilleux endroit, dans lequel on ne peut que se croire au paradis, et que j'ai quitté à grands regrets.

Everything was great, very friendly staff, we got a great welcoming, the staff and locals always greet one with Jambo, caribu, welcome. Great breakfast, lots of choices, dinner was also delicious and the restaurant was right at the beach. Maybe the beach area could be better cared for eg. removing the seagrass from the beach, we also saw lots of plastic which the beach staff didn’t pick up, we removed lots of plastic and pieces of broken glass ourselves. The sea was really warm -at least 33 degrees Celsius,-but unfortunately contains lots of seaweed. The sea tides cause the sea to be pulled back every day so its low tide til around 2-3pm. At 6pm the tide is also low, so not much time for sea swimming. The pools watertemperature was too cool for me. Our room was very beautiful, with a double rainshower, (good water pressure) with wash basin, walk in closet , separate toilet with wash basin and also a private outdoor shower. Very clean, gorgeous deco! Would definitely recommend this hotel, lots of space and not overcrowded .
